Welcome Minnesota Citizens for the Arts

Minnesota Citizens for the Arts has moved into their new office at 661 LaSalle St. They have a sunny office with lots of space for their displays of artwork. MCA is a statewide arts advocacy organization that organizes the arts community to lobby the Minnesota State Legislature and Congress. Their mission is to ensure opportunity for all people to have access to and involvement in the arts. WELCOME!

Love the landscaping

It's always fun to see the landscaping go in!!  We are just waiting on a few last items and our first tenant will move into 661 LaSalle.  Bluhm Brothers is doing a great job on our landscaping.  We are installing more than 24 trees, 42 shrubs and 180 perennials.

New Micro Apartments coming to the CEZ Neighborhood

Here's an interesting concept - Micro apartments. The developer of the Carleton Lofts in the CEZ is going to build an 80 unit apartment building with "micro" units that are just 350 to 450 sq. ft.   Similar in size to a  studio apartment, the units are meant to appeal to millennials who want to use the Green Line LRT to get around.  The apartment building will offer a rooftop patio and many other amenities.  The address will be 2323 Charles Ave. We are excited that the project will bring more people to the neighborhood!

Welcome Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association

We are excited to welcome our newest tenant!  The Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association advocates for persons with food allergies and educates individuals and organizations about living with food allergies.  Their advocacy has makes a real difference in the lives of children and parents.

Want a tour of of 661 LaSalle?

The new building is really looking great!   We are excited about the exterior colors and the big windows let in so much light!   We are 1/2 leased, but still have some great spaces available on the ground floor and second floor.   Look at those great big windows!

661 LaSalle is Really taking Shape!

We are excited to see all the progress at our new office building at 661 LaSallle St. The concrete floors are poured and decorative block is being installed on the exterior of the building.  Plumbing and sprinkler pipes are being installed inside.   We are still looking at summer occupancy and our leasing is going well. We should be ready to walk people through the spaces in a few weeks.

Progress on 661 LaSalle

Yesterday they poured the concrete for the third floor.  Today is concrete for the second floor!

New Housing on University

New housing is really taking shape at 2700 University - a development which will bring 248 apartments into our neighborhood!  Occupancy is scheduled for fall 2016 and will include a mix of market rate and affordable housing.   The development will have many amenities such as a pool, patio, bike repair station and of course it will be right on the Green Line.    The Raymond/University neighborhood is really growing and it is really exciting to add 250 to 350 additional residents to our creative enterprise zone area.

New Developments Prove Raymond/University is the Place to Be!

It's pretty exciting when you see all the new developments pinned to this map!   We are pleased that the two new housing developments and two office buildings will bring many new jobs and residents to our neighborhood.    Sunrise Banks will build a beautiful office building, I'm sure.   Their bank on Como Avenue is very pretty and sustainable development too.   With their building and our development at 661 LaSalle, there will be over 150 new workers in the neighborhood every day.    The new new apartments on University will bring hundreds of residents  to the area as well.   We need the mix of both to support our restaurants and shops in the  Raymond/University area. Welcome to the Creative Enterprise Zone!   We Make it Here!    And people want to be here.
